I started cutting down my /etc/make.conf to see if there is something being set there that is now interfering with the new dist's Makefile. Right now I have nothing extra set there at all, and it went thru the ./configure step and on to the compile steps okay so far. I swear this is the first time I hit this kind of problem since tracking -Current back in October 2003 starting with a JP-Current CD. I'll look at the tee'd log tomorrow... right now I wanna go home and use something saner -- MacOSX Panther ;) Thank you, -- Paul Seniura System Specialist State of Okla. D.O.T.
