Everything looks okay there.

I started cutting down my /etc/make.conf to see if there is something
being set there that is now interfering with the new dist's Makefile. 
Right now I have nothing extra set there at all, and it went thru
the ./configure step and on to the compile steps okay so far.
I swear this is the first time I hit this kind of problem since
tracking -Current back in October 2003 starting with a JP-Current CD.
I'll look at the tee'd log tomorrow...
right now I wanna go home and use something saner -- MacOSX Panther ;)
