Despite of vestiges of wide chars support I found it is not properly localized, regex =66rom grep 2.4.2 is better for our needs and I plan to import it. Currently there is no local modifications required, but it may be not so=20 for future versions, f.e. grep 2.5 regex is damaged like their glibc one=20 and need efforts to restore some functionality. > > BTW, I want to preserve 'doc' subdir from old one, it is still useful. = How=20 > > to do properly it in the absense of vendor branch? > >=20 > How about importing regex related documentation bits from glibc, > and putting them at the same location? As I say, I not plan to import glibc bits yet, docs too. Regex from grep=20 2.4.2 have no docs, of course. --=20 Andrey Chernov | http://ache.pp.ru/ --IS0zKkzwUGydFO0o Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (FreeBSD) iQCVAwUBQDoe7uJgpPLZnQjrAQFjcQQAi/91IkEQ7l8zY07Uu4h00aNeKLvjy7u4 SMMF+dLSWio8cW1xp1H1E5/fEvWgcLw5qiAD3QRipqK4bEnUtIcr623pUdd4EJLW 14+rY8g8ZvgPp5DObxCmTSaU2jncUgGTkhKN9O1MN4iMKLrR1w2JItogWf+v9Wqm YPoooWYe3Is= =zS2R -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --IS0zKkzwUGydFO0o--
