Well, devd.conf isn't exactly heavy on documentation, but I would think that you can do something like: attach 0 { device-name "da[0-9]+"; action "chmod 755"; // or even action "/etc/rc.d/devfs start" // but it depends what you have in there. }; Of course, others might be able to give you better suggestions, I have not tried this, but only based it on the docs that I read and on /usr/share/examples/etc/devd.conf Hope this helps somewhat... -- Regards: Szilveszter ADAM Budapest Hungary
