I started using Umbrello a few days ago, and all I can say,
is that all around it is very buggy.
Besides the undo crash that you experienced, for me,
if I were to try to create a sequence diagram, and try deleting
objects, it crashes. Unfortunately, I do not get a useful
backtrace to report (it keeps saying "This backtrace appears to be of no
use.").

So I installed graphics/dia from the ports last night, and I can
say that it is a very good (and stable) option, if you
need to get some thoughts down into a diagram.

Currently using FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE-p9
