I > don't think SCSI could have much more beyond 'scbus ch da sa cd pass My initial thought a few days ago was that we could put everything that ought to be portable (i.e. is uses a PCI bus as isn't horriably badly written) in there and if it doesn't work on a specific platform, we put an appropratly commented "nodevice" entry in that file. Now I think that isn't a complete solution since we've got a fair number of 32-bit only device drivers, but I suppose we could deal with a shared list of drivers broken in a particular way.
