I did 'make distclean', then 'make rmconfig', then 'make rmconfig' again to have it say no user settings were found. Then I do make and leave all default make settings, it gives me the same error: ===> dspam-3.2.3.20041203.1245 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/libtool15 - found ===> dspam-3.2.3.20041203.1245 depends on shared library: ecpg.4 - found ===> dspam-3.2.3.20041203.1245 depends on shared library: sqlite.2 - found ===> Configuring for dspam-3.2.3.20041203.1245 You can use one and only one database back-end at once. *** Error code 1 Can there possibly be anything else not getting cleaned up? -- Robert
