Ok.. I am having a moment of extreme muppetry (i think) Thanks to Wilko for sorting out some bits on the ftp.freebsd.org site... I have now have a working minimal install from FTP of 5.3-RELEASE... I have even installed a couple of packages, and even cvsup'd the source... And that is where the problem has started.... I have selected all but kerberos in the SRC section of the cvsup file, and some selected ports... All files come down, no apparent errors... I have gone into /usr/ports and installed a couple of the packages i require... All good. Now to rebuild world... so, following on from 4.9/4.10... root@test53bsd:/> cd /usr/src root@test53bsd:/usr/src> make buildworld make: don't know how to make buildworld. Stop The Makefile in /usr/src is actually Makefile,v , again fine, but no Makefile itself... Ideas of what i have forgotten ???? Follows is the src bit of my supfile..
