I rebuild the kernel with atapicam (ata, scbus,cd and pass were already there) and installed cdrecord and cdrdao. I have a few questions: dmegs states "attempt to query device size failed: NOT READY, Medium not present" Can this querying be set off? Even with cdroms in the drives it delays booting. cdrecord -scanbus comes up with a list of (cd) devices plus a warning: "cdrecord: Warning: controller returns wrong size for CD capabilities page" What does this warning mean? What do I do about it? -- dick -- http://nagual.st/ -- PGP/GnuPG key: F86289CE ++ Running FreeBSD 4.11 ++ FreeBSD 5.3 + Nai tiruvantel ar vayuvantel i Valar tielyanna nu vilja
