Hmmm... This seems to be the issue for me, HEAD vs RELENG_5.  With my 
RELENG_5 machine, I can panic it fairly quickly.  So far on my one HEAD 
box, doing the same test in
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=79420

Does not panic / crash the box like it does in RELENG_5.
