We hope to get some major infrastructure changes in net80211 done in time to go in 7.x and that will in turn enable vap support. Unclear whether vap's will make RELENG_7 due to api/abi changes but the net80211 changes involve rev'ing all the drivers which has always been the reason the vap work sat in p4. Sam
