Thanks, I've just tried it on 7-CURRENT under VMWare Server on Windows. Here's what I see: - No kernel modules at all for FreeBSD - The VMWare console displays a message "Your version of VMWare tools is out of date" - The "vmware-user" client program for X11 (enabling "intelligent" mouse focus and copy/paste to/from the VM) works. Don't know how to copy files to/from the machine (or whether this works at all) - The "toolbox" client program works partially: time sync works, the devices tab doesn't show virtual SCSI devices, scripts don't seem to work, "shrinking" doesn't work So far, the tools don't seem very useful. The VM without kernel modules is as slow as ever. --------------enigD142536129EA8C6358FDB11B Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFG7DcSldnAQVacBcgRAhlbAJ9iwpwN5jPKgVoK23nTstPcfUWZMgCg6Qdl IVAqb2ZMRaBfkqcJjJukxPk= =mxNm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigD142536129EA8C6358FDB11B--
