Not on a 6.2 system.  They would link against libc.so.7 and you'd only
have libc.so.6 for one.

I did not have this problem.

You want PACKAGESITE
i.e.
PACKAGESITE=ftp://ftp13.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/amd64/packages-6.2-release/Latest/

The trailing / is important.
