The current release version of PC-BSD is based on FreeBSD 6.3. They are exactly the same but PC-BSD has been custom configured to provide a usable desktop from first boot. For that particular card, you will need the hal that is in FreeBSD7. I don't believe it was ever MFC'd back to 6.x. You can either grab FreeBSD 7 or try out the PC-BSD alpha at ftp://ftp.pcbsd.org/pub/alpha-isos/i386/. There will be a new PC-BSD alpha up next week. best, -matt > > I'm copying to the list so that someone with knowledge of PCBSD can answer > this correctly. > > ed >> >> On Sat, Jun 28, 2008 at 5:47 AM, <eculp@cloudmaster.info> wrote: >> >>> Quoting Manolis Kiagias <sonic2000gr@gmail.com>: >>> >>> Isaac MacFarlane wrote: >>>> >>>>> Hello all.
