For the archive: I finally got skype working in a jailed environment. The hardest part was to define the ports needed using trial and error. Here are the leaf ports installed in my jail: ===>>> skype-2.0.0.72,1 ===>>> xauth-1.0.2 ===>>> xorg-fonts-100dpi-7.3 ===>>> xorg-fonts-75dpi-7.3 ===>>> xorg-fonts-cyrillic-7.3 ===>>> xorg-fonts-miscbitmaps-7.3 ===>>> xorg-fonts-truetype-7.3 ===>>> xorg-fonts-type1-7.3 ===>>> 8 leaf ports xauth is needed to enable X-forwarding in ssh. The fonts are needed to avoid the core dumps mentioned earlier in this thread. I hope somenone finds this useful.
