Hi! I'm not aware of any problems with the 686b. Could you please describe what the problem actually is ? Could you please get me the output from dmesg, preferably from a =20 verbose boot ? I cant help you without at least the above rudimentary information. -S=F8ren On 6Oct, 2008, at 9:01 , remko@FreeBSD.ORG wrote: > Synopsis: [ata] ata diver dma mode work incorrectly on chip =20 > vt82c686b in freebsd 6 and 7 version 5 work fine [regression] > > Responsible-Changed-From-To: freebsd-bugs->sos > Responsible-Changed-By: remko > Responsible-Changed-When: Mon Oct 6 07:01:29 UTC 2008 > Responsible-Changed-Why: > Dear Soren, can we (you and I) have a look at this and see how we can > determine what is going on and in the end resolve this? > > http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=3D127813
