I cannot reproduce this any more either; it may have been an unrelated  
error that just manifested itself in a strange place and got resolved by a  
later portmaster --check-depends, pkgdb -F, or reinstallation of another  
port, and in fact databases/db50 may have been a red herring.

I'm closing this PR.
