Fair point, although I'd say that's part of the cost-benefit analysis 
too, where features includes "up-to-date security fixes". Anyway,
I finally reviewed the thread and an actual I4B user, Julian, seems
to have concluded that investing a bit of time in the hps code is
a net benefit, so all's well. :)
