Ok, I understand the problem with the "hw.psm.tap_enabled" sysctl: it
only works for Synaptics touchpad when not using
"hw.psm.synaptics_support=3D1".

For any other touchpads using the "Generic PS/2 mouse" code in psm(4),
the sysctl is not used at all.

I'll try to prepare a patch for that, but maybe not before a few days.
