whoa, msmtp depends on a lot of stuff, perl, gettext, etc.
the whole download exceeds my daily quota of bandwidth.
giving up again... :(

my mail relay and host is gandi.net which requires authentication
for mail fetching as well as sending.
can a combination of mailx, fetchmail and ssmtp be made to work
well in my scenario?
(i used to be a heavy mailx user before).
