It's not a problem in the sense that it cannot be done, but just think about having to share a machine with a bunch of people and you don't own the machine. You quickly realize that without MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX or with files in /etc (like /etc/make.conf) that you can't tweak, you quick;y realize how error prone everything and how much time you end up wasting. -- Marcel Moolenaar marcel@xcllnt.net --Apple-Mail=_135E2C64-62D2-432F-80DE-FA2E0FE7E1D7 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: Message signed with OpenPGP using GPGMail -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org iEYEARECAAYFAlQjXg8ACgkQpgWlLWHuifZbcACfe/rPr5pPCr0gNPyWYUo3jPog l2YAn0SvKLDBYOG/3zWTi4nU12t21PXT =vQhF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Apple-Mail=_135E2C64-62D2-432F-80DE-FA2E0FE7E1D7--
