The one item I have not seen mentioned was to read all the freebsd-questions issues carefully. Try to understand the issue and see if you can come up with a possible solution. Then watch the responses and see how close you came. Also investigate so that you understand the responses. Granted, at first most of them will be difficult to even understand, but with experience doing that, you will find your understanding improving. In addition, you will experience a wide variety of issues in area you probably never dreamed existed. -- Doug
