I've only said *I*'ve put it there. :-) Since most of the X11 Imake macros are protected by #ifndef's, it's quite equal where you put it -- i prefer the xf86site.def for all of this, since i need to maintain only a single file. (I'm still also a beta-tester for XFree86[tm], and hence have to live with frequent changes in the various config files.
