On those data, 12=2E4 amd64 dvd1 at 4,492,255,232 bytes is 98=2E6% of DVD-=
R capacity, phew=2E

So if gnome had been included on 13=2E1 and (later) 12=2E4, neither would =
have fitted on a single-sided DVD=2E

Maybe we need separate KDE and gnome DVDs?  Does anyone care?

OTOH, where can you buy an USB stick smaller than 8GB these days?
