I've got that same Apache-1.23+PHP+FP working fine.... > <IfDefine !MOD_FP> > AllowOverride All > </IfDefine> No, because I started with a previously used httpd.conf, one that had been used with frontpage DSO. I have AllowOverride All defined, it just isn't in an IfDefine statement. > ......and start with: > /usr/local/sbin/httpd -DMOD_FP No, but the (apache.sh / apachectl) that was installed during the build doesn't seem to support that option. I have no doubt that frontpage is being started, see the output bellow. [Sun Apr 14 10:31:40 2002] [notice] Apache/1.3.23 (Unix) PHP/4.1.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2623 mod_ssl/2.8.7 OpenSSL/0.9.6b configured -- resuming normal operations [Sun Apr 14 10:31:40 2002] [notice] Accept mutex: flock (Default: flock) And, I can successfully login to a frontpage enabled site, publish, make changes, etc. Where the problems begin is with an link / indices update. Part of the problem here is that you are starting with apache-fp. I am starting with apache-ssl.
