Using /stand/sysinstall, I create a full disk (ie no PC slices) FS
on my syquest. The only thing I change is number of heads (to 2). 

Works great.

Also, to move a large amount of data from my Sparc at work to
my FBSD at home, I simply tar to/from the raw partition,
/dev/rdsk/c0t2d0s2 and /dev/rsd2c, as I recall (haven't 
done it in a few weeks).
