> Any signs of FreeBSD getting port to Power Mac architecture in the > way Linux was ported? there are 2 Linux PPC ports: a native port and the apple/osf sponsored mach-based port. the mach port is significantly slower because mach is a pig. i wouldn't mind a native port, but it is such a time consuming task that i don't expect to see it. far more interesting would be an alpha port since alpha pricing is now similar to high-end PCs. b3n
