Yes there is. Just run the command line with arguments as you would it
is normally done from init, rc, rc.local.
Example from my system.
/usr/local/bin/apache/src/httpd
Just like any other program.

I believe that you can find watchdog software that will check your
proccesses and restart them if needed. You might check it out.
