I recommend Postfix as well. I have tried Exim, Sendmail, hMailServer (a MS-Windows solution), but I have always come back to Postfix as a great combination of easy-to-configure, use, and stable. A friend told me that Courier Mail Server is attractive as a "do all" solution, but I have no personal experience other than the Courier IMAP solution, which worked very well. I highly recommend running Postfix.. It is a very easy to learn and has lots of advanced features such as being able to authenticate/query databases (mysql, postgres) or LDAP in addition to the normal stuff. I also recommend this book (The Book of Postfix): http://www.amazon.com/Book-Postfix-State-Art-Transport/dp/1593270011/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-8305754-1665625?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1178725829&sr=8-1 Regards, Brad Davis _______________________________________________ freebsd-isp@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-isp To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-isp-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
