I was able to burst through this error, by the way, and have a new error in=
stead involving GLib from HBSD's ports tree=2E For context I also have NetB=
SD's pkgsrc on my system, and GLib 2=2E56=2E3's configure script seems to b=
e erroneously picking up on libraries from the pkgsrc LOCALBASE (which on m=
y system is /Packages/netbsd), creating an "undefined reference to locale_c=
harset" issue in gio-querymodules=2E
