In fact, as Matt pointed out, I think that the people more likely to find the cron job annoying are folks who want their drives to power down and stay powered down. These folks will probably want to disable this feature completely by setting entropy_dir to NO and rely on the entropy saved by rc.shutdown only. Ciao, Sheldon.
