Hey Gerald, yep, you're right it would be a solution. I just tried to be lazy because I don't really need any extra options when compiling the samba package. That's why I was looking for it... I actually prefer to build everything we use here from source whenever possible. As a bonus, there are times when you can actually get more functionality this way.
