Intel PIIX4 Ultra DMA 33 (UDMA2), 33 MB/sec
Intel ICH0 Ultra DMA 33 (UDMA2), 33 MB/sec

VIA 82C686a Ultra DMA 66 (UDMA4), 66 MB/sec
VIA 82C686b Ultra DMA 100 (UDMA5), 100 MB/sec
If yours is listed here then try grabbing an iso of 4.3, the boot
floppies for an ftp install, or install the Quantum on another controller
with 4.1, cvsup to 4.x Stable or 4.3, and move the drive to the new
controller. I just did close to this, I moved my UDMA 33 system to a new
drive on the UDMA 66 controller. Good luck.
