I have one too! It's great. You can write +RW with burncd, -R and -RW with dvdrecord (which I may someday submit a port for; it needs some patches to install) and +R with... well... why would you use +R anyway? :-) You can also write CD-R and CD-RW w/cdrecord. And if you want video DVDs, encode the MPEG yourself, and there's a program that comes with dvdrecord to generate the layout.
