I'm going to make a single statement and then shut up (which is weird for me).... It has been my experience over many many years that "dot-0" releases (meaning the initial release after a major change) are NOT what you want to stake your livelihood on no matter the product (whether it be FreeBSD, or Windows or Novell or...") or how well the product was tested by the "manufacturer". (well I lied, one more...) If you expect a .0 release to be 100% stable, you have either not been around the industry long enough or you haven't learned from the past. - Forrest W.
