John, Please do NOT try to install openssh or openssl on a 4.0 system. They are already a part of the base system! If you want openssh 2.1, either update to Stable or wait for 4.1 to be released next week. R. Kevin Oberman, Network Engineer Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) Ernest O.
