Concerning this PHP stuff:
That's all is OK, i've got php5 and apache working after upgrading,
everything seemed nice, except one thing.
I had a script which was generating picture with text in utf8 encoded
Japanese using gd+freetype2 (it used php5_gd module and was created
because of the fact that not everybody has appropriate fonts installed).
It worked nice before update on both php4 and php5. After upgrade
php5_gd wasn't displaying text on pic correctly. it just shows some
kind of characters which look like japanese but is absolutely not the
text which i had in a database. i fixed it temporarily by installing
php4 for that script, but that's not solution.
anyone have had a problem with php5-gd module after upgrading?
