Not all source code rely on libtool. I don't know the excact conditions. This is just one randomly selected example which ends in an libtool related error: # pkg_add -r libtool # pkg_add -r gcc41 # cd /usr/ports/devel/gettext && make CC=/usr/local/bin/gcc41 Björn
