Run it through strace(1) and ktrace(1) in Linux and see what devices it talks to in /dev and see if they can be emulated. It's probably talking to /dev/ns{r,a}0 and /dev/ch0, depending on udev/autodev/ foo-bar-latest-greatest linux framework.
