First, please turn off the html in your email.  html email is evil, 
bad, microsoftish, etc. :)

Staroffice runs just fine, as does vmware.  I can't get linux netscape 
47 reinstalled though.  This isn't much of a problem, as I usually use 
lynx, but mozilla is driving me nuts. What kind of crack-headed idea 
was changing from entering url's to "search firts, use url second?"  
And the key-bindings are windows bindings, not unix. [ok, and I still 
want netscape 3 back . . .]

I see a lot of those, too.   On top of that, the older linux base no 
longer builds properly.
