That's an interesting comment. Does gnome-terminal have any equivalent to the '+s' (synchronous) option on xterm and, if so, does that have any effect? >It won't go back down until Xorg is actually closed. I think this implies that it's a bug in the X server because otherwise the resources would be released when the offending client is closed. Unfortunately, I think I'm out of ideas on how to track down the problem, sorry. --=20 Peter Jeremy Please excuse any delays as the result of my ISP's inability to implement an MTA that is either RFC2821-compliant or matches their claimed behaviour. --GvXjxJ+pjyke8COw Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFHfSwO/opHv/APuIcRAlwqAJ9EqKBLNx/FxbG+t7mJenczz28GCwCgigr0 ow0UEY4gqb+GXNaqdlNvLZc= =TGUV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --GvXjxJ+pjyke8COw--
