Could you please try this path: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~bruno/powernow.c.pending_bit_stuck.diff cd /sys/i386/cpufreq patch < /path/to/powernow.c.pending_bit_stuck.diff cd /sys/modules/cpufreq make make install make clean then reboot and please report if that help with the powerd problem.
