Hi I use build mips firmware image by ZRouter. https://zrouter.org/ You need FreeBSD 12-Stable source code. Because of broken at 13-Stable by clang. I don't have routerboard 711 but AR7241 is use Nec WR8170N. https://dmesgd.nycbug.org/index.cgi?do=3Dview&id=3D5252 This module use TPLink type u-boot. If routerboard use normal u-boot then need modify board.mk Regards Hiroki Mori > ----- Original Message ----- >=20 > From: "Jos=C3=A9 P=C3=A9rez" <fbl@aoek.com> > To: "freebsd-mips@freebsd.org" <freebsd-mips@freebsd.org> > Date: 2022/03/05 =E5=9C=9F 07:18 > Subject: Mikrotik RouterBoard: How to boot? >=20 >=20 > Hi, > I have a Mikrotik routerboard 711 (AR7241) and would like to install=20 > FreeBSD on it. >=20 > Have been following the guide here: > https://wiki.freebsd.org/action/show/BuildingMIPS?action=3Dshow&redirect= =3DFreeBSD%2FBuildingMIPS >=20 > But it does not indicate how to actually boot.
