I am running version 4.2 of FreeBSD. If it's a network printer (connected via ethernet) check to see if it does LPD print spooling, if so, you can use the native LPD daemon. Then look into either magicfilter or apsfilter - both of which will automagically convert print jobs to the correct postscript format for you. Personally, I use magicfilter, but I don't know if there's any advantage to one or the other of these. -Bill -- If a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, then what can I get for two hands in the bush?
