I seem to be having some luck with setting hw.bge.asf_allow=3D0 at the loader or /boot/loader.conf Managed to reboot the machine three times now without the reboot hang or the hang on boot. Hopefully that might work for you too, I believe the 385's have the same bge NICs as the 585's? Regards, Andrew
