OK, I'll take you up on that. :-) I've got a FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE box with 25 php55 packages installed. There's nothing about php in /etc/make.conf, and according to /usr/ports/UPDATING, the current default version of php is 5.6. However, 'pkg update && pkg upgrade' doesn't touch the php packages. I don't particularly _need_ php56* on this box, but I'd like to understand what the expected behavior is. Thanks! dn pkg(8) will tell you what it is > going to do before it does anything, so you have plenty of chances > to stop before you trash anything important. > > Cheers, > > Matthew > > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.0.22 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJVB0/XAAoJEDoYs7vtFALa/MYP/3oravGWIj5BHMqXrJXK5tYR tZp+SoJCnNLJcez7BfKg6WxTkMXDZJ2uGyL0lW5/h9yC4gEREmF2AG6OK+FGp+CT UaCe8cHDjj7BhkMdS/DbB26Aml2QC8MAwC7ga/75iW8wPWtmJgthn8/GAWE5RUiz FrQZ2DAKlsYyrdhL9UdVToWl1/yqY1IisdreYy6nrgTddSBhmlzNcALReBfrO0Kr K0ZjRxfsERmS5EMJUrMsy5SeqDSsUlhUVHtlVQWJSO9bI4uF1t1ah1HJq2mAFD8t 6oxLOCAgDCgmIMJkRS+pzhmXFdK9nJlxrq/Z8ndhquyHz5ODJVsJLDm5o4Nx1rDu sgZlULuHqEN6fn11kNZu/4I5NRNj5+3MHgNDiX5qB/V4CPsC3GB5KwUV4d1WO62d 02HwBOoO+FGcA3F6uH7kxUsIAfUBhNRqRNRVtKtiMao0hybQd2AHekQcisODSSa3 mTNztztK953v2dPu+UjTyGQLkK4vwR3q198qMwClXN1m0PTZtv7y8T+10z213x5S BOT7snDpKpA6G2unDFNTaHe8d+K4HJ+25QCA5cSuc4u8yzSSlllVQFO31NmFSosz SaXWB89qefczHipBSvBozg+OeSQy5zjA19TlWop+4RCXGxhk3FbObNZ1b3n9UF/2 xRxJux9fsXSleNocTPip =4SsU -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
