Hi, I don't know . Unfortunately the drm2 update landed in between some backlight changes in upstream ,and it's quite possible that we've hit some magic point in the linux history where the backlight broke for various versions of laptops. It's fine for all the models I own, so unless someone buys me one so I can tinker with it, you're going to have to wait for the next drm2 update to more recent Linux code. -adrian On 21 May 2015 at 20:45, Johannes Jost Meixner <xmj@freebsd.org> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA256 > > Hi Adrian, > > Stefan is seeing the same issue I've started seeing in February. > > We're both using ASUS UX32VDs > (https://wiki.freebsd.org/Laptops/ASUS_UX32VD). > > What's the actual fix for it? > - -J > > >> Hi, >> >> How are things ?
