Eugene, Do you use freebsd-wifi-build? freebsd-wifi-build doesn't include this library into mfsroot (no lib, no pain). I have firmware image built by freebsd-wifi-build (for Broadcom SoC) and it's less than 8MB. Thanks, Michael.
