Hi Andrew, Thank-you very much.. The HD software found a bug on one of the drives that hadn't degraded - fixing that seems to have worked.. I thought HDs were supposed to fix things like that internally ?! You saved me lots of time and effort - email your address and i'll add you to my Christmas card list!! Regards, Adrian.
