There are people who are a lot more expert than I at interpreting Adaptec card dumps lurking on these lists, but honestly, there isn't much here to go on. My first take would have been to double-check the cabling, and retest the hardware in another machine. But if the hardware seems to work using another OS, well, the easy answers are out. I might try disabling your ATA controller entirely, if you are not using it, to remove the first error message... -- -Chuck
